ऋग्वेद - मण्डल 2/ सूक्त 41/ मन्त्र 1
वायो॒ ये ते॑ सह॒स्रिणो॒ रथा॑स॒स्तेभि॒रा ग॑हि। नि॒युत्वा॒न्त्सोम॑पीतये॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठवायो॒ इति॑ । ये । ते॒ । स॒ह॒स्रिणः॑ । रथा॑सः । तेभिः॑ । आ । ग॒हि॒ । नि॒युत्वा॑न् । सोम॑ऽपीतये ॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
वायो ये ते सहस्रिणो रथासस्तेभिरा गहि। नियुत्वान्त्सोमपीतये॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठवायो इति। ये। ते। सहस्रिणः। रथासः। तेभिः। आ। गहि। नियुत्वान्। सोमऽपीतये॥

Subject [विषय - स्वामी दयानन्द] - The attributes of a teacher in technology are stated.
Translation [अन्वय - स्वामी दयानन्द] - O learned person! you are mighty and benevolent like the wind. You are observer of your framed rules and time. Come with various attractive speedy sophisticated vehicles to drink the Soma juice.

Purport [भावार्थ - स्वामी दयानन्द] - Men should know well about the speed and other innumerable attributes of the air to apply them in aircrafts and go and come hither and thither.
Foot Notes - (वायो) वायुवद् वर्तमान विद्वन्। = O learned man! who are mighty and benevolent like the air. (सहस्रिण:) सहस्रमसङ्ख्याता वेगादयो गुणाः सन्ति येषां ते = Endowed with speed and thousands of other qualities. (नियुत्वान) नियमनियुक्तः। = Observers of the framed rules and time.
