मरु॑तो॒ यस्य॒ हि क्षये॑ पा॒था दि॒वो वि॑महसः। स सु॑गो॒पात॑मो॒ जनः॑ ॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठमरु॑त: । यस्य॑ । हि । क्षय॑ । पा॒थ । दि॒व: । वि॒ऽम॒ह॒स॒: । स: । सु॒ऽगो॒पात॑म: । जन॑: ॥१.२॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
मरुतो यस्य हि क्षये पाथा दिवो विमहसः। स सुगोपातमो जनः ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठमरुत: । यस्य । हि । क्षय । पाथ । दिव: । विऽमहस: । स: । सुऽगोपातम: । जन: ॥१.२॥

Translation -
O brave warriors moving fast like the winds, the best protector is the man under whose shining and specially glorious shelter you guard the nation or in the case of God. O Vital breaths, Well-protector and the Creator is God under Whose glorious and splendorous shelter you protect all the creatures and the worlds.
