ए॒ष प्र पू॒र्वीरव॒ तस्य॑ च॒म्रिषोऽत्यो॒ न योषा॒मुद॑यंस्त भु॒र्वणिः॑। दक्षं॑ म॒हे पा॑ययते हिर॒ण्ययं॒ रथ॑मा॒वृत्या॒ हरि॑योग॒मृभ्व॑सम् ॥

Subject of the mantra - Now is the beginning of the fifty-sixth hymn, in its first mantra the qualities of a teacher and a preacher have been preached.
Etymology and English translation based on Anvaya (logical connection of words) of Maharshi Dayanad Saraswati (M.D.S)- -
(yaḥ) =That, (eṣaḥ)=teacher and preacher, (bhurvaṇiḥ) =nourisher, (tasya)=to attain that ultimate opulence and, (camriṣaḥ) =to those people, {pra}=eminently, (pūrvīḥ) prācīna sanātana kāla se varttamāna {ava}=uninterruptedly, (prajāḥ) =to children, (utpādayitum) =to produce, (atyaḥ) =of horse, (na) =like, (yoṣām) =to wife, (ut) =above, (ayaṁsta) =takes away,(saḥ) =he, (tasyai) =of that, (prajāyai)=for the children, (mahe)=in reverent behavior, (satya) =truth, (upadeśaiḥ) =by preaching, (śrotrāṇi) =to ears, (āvṛtya) =covering, (hiraṇyayam)=with abundant brilliance or gold, (ṛbhvasam) =the chariot by which deities or human beings etc. move is called, to that, (hariyogam)=In which horse etc. have been added, that, (ratham)= group of chariots, (dakṣam) =by force and cleverness, (ca) =also, (prāpayya)=attains, (pāyayate) =gets protected, (saḥ) =that, (sarvaiḥ) =of all, (mānanīyaḥ)=honourable, (bhavati)=happens.
English Translation (K.K.V.) - The teacher and preacher, the nourisher, who takes the wife up like a horse to attain that ultimate opulence and to give birth to children in an uninterrupted manner from the ancient eternal times to the present. For children, by covering the ears through true teachings in reverent conduct, he bestows the chariot with which the deities or human beings etc. move in abundance, with glitter or gold, the groups of chariots to which the horses etc. are attached, He obtains it and protects it through force and cleverness. He is respected by everyone.

Just as a preacher, by marrying a woman as learned as he is, preaches to men and teaches children, in the same way his wife should preach and should not suffer from any fear of ignorance while teaching girls.
