वी॒तिहो॑त्रं त्वा कवे द्यु॒मन्त॒ꣳ समि॑धीमहि। अग्ने॑ बृ॒हन्त॑मध्व॒रे॥४॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठवी॒तिहो॑त्र॒मिति॑ वी॒तिऽहो॑त्रम्। त्वा॒। क॒वे॒। द्यु॒मन्त॒मिति॑ द्यु॒ऽमन्त॒म्। सम्। इ॒धी॒म॒हि॒। अग्ने॑। बृ॒हन्त॑म्। अ॒ध्व॒रे ॥४॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
वीतिहोत्रन्त्वा कवे द्युमन्तँ समिधीमहि । अग्ने बृहन्तमध्वरे ॥
स्वर रहित पद पाठ
वीतिहोत्रमिति वीतिऽहोत्रम्। त्वा। कवे। द्युमन्तमिति द्युऽमन्तम्। सम्। इधीमहि। अग्ने। बृहन्तम्। अध्वरे॥४॥
Meaning -
May we, in a friendly spirit, manifest Thy glory Oh Omniscient, All-illumining God, the Giver of great happiness to all, the Embodiment of effulgence, and the Preacher of the yajnas.

Swami Dayananda has put two interpretations upon this mantra. Agni has been taken to mean God and physical fire. I have accepted the first interpretation, the second one referring to fire also holds good.
