यजुर्वेद - अध्याय 3/ मन्त्र 21
रेव॑ती॒ रम॑ध्वम॒स्मिन् योना॑व॒स्मिन् गो॒ष्ठेऽस्मिँल्लो॒केऽस्मिन् क्षये॑। इ॒हैव स्त॒ माप॑गात॥२१॥
स्वर सहित पद पाठरेव॑तीः। रम॑ध्वम्। अ॒स्मिन्। योनौ॑। अ॒स्मिन्। गो॒ष्ठे। गो॒स्थ इति॑ गो॒ऽस्थे॑। अ॒स्मिन्। लो॒के। अ॒स्मिन्। क्षये॑। इ॒ह। ए॒व। स्त॒। मा। अप॑। गा॒त॒ ॥२१॥
स्वर रहित मन्त्र
रेवती रमध्वमस्मिन्योनावस्मिन्गोष्ठे स्मिँल्लोके स्मिन्क्षये । इहैव स्त मापगात ॥

रेवतीः। रमध्वम्। अस्मिन्। योनौ। अस्मिन्। गोष्ठे। गोस्थ इति गोऽस्थे। अस्मिन्। लोके। अस्मिन्। क्षये। इह। एव। स्त। मा। अप। गात॥२१॥
Meaning -
Oh Vedic speech, may thou remain in this altar in this yajna, in this spot and in this house. Remain here, and go not far from hence.

Revati has been translated as wise policy by Swami Dayanandji. According to this interpretation the Mantra may mean Oh wise policy, Oh Statesmanship, may thou remain in this abode, this fold, this spot and this dwelling. Remain just here and go not thence. वाग्वै रेवती। Shatapath 3-8-14-21.
